terms of service & end user licence

01 who we are

wodii is a training-log ios application. the service is provided to you by sandeep patra (“we”, “us”, or “wodii”), an individual developer and sole proprietor based in noida, uttar pradesh, india, who operates the app under licence from train hybrid llc.

train hybrid llc, a limited liability company licensed in shams (sharjah media city free zone), united arab emirates, registered at shams business center, al messaned, sharjah, owns the copyright in the wodii software and the wodii name and marks, and has licensed them to sandeep patra for the purpose of distributing and operating the app. train hybrid llc is the licensor only: it is not a party to these terms, it does not operate the service, and it is not the data controller.

sandeep patra is the data controller named in our privacy policy, and the name apple shows as the seller of this app on the app store. any reference to “the service” in these terms means the wodii ios app and the backend infrastructure that supports it.

02 what the service is

wodii lets you photograph the whiteboard at your gym, parses the workout out of that photograph, and files it into a personal training log. it also calculates a hybrid fitness score across five domains, engine, strength, power, work capacity and consistency, from the sessions you log. you may also add progress photos and notes. wodii also has community features: a profile, gyms you join with an invite code, workouts a gym’s coaches post, leaderboards, a feed of other athletes’ session cards, follows and cheers. what other athletes can see of yours is set by the audience you choose for each session, as the privacy policy explains. some features are free; some require a paid subscription (“wodii+”). which is which is disclosed inside the app before you are asked to pay.

03 age minimum

you must be at least 13 years old to create a wodii account. if you are under 13, do not use the service and do not create an account. if we learn we hold data belonging to a user under 13, we will delete it. if you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country, a parent or legal guardian must review these terms with you.

before the first sign-in the app asks you to confirm that you are 13 or older. we do not ask for, collect, or store your date of birth; the only thing kept is a yes/no flag on your device so you are not asked again.

04 your account

you can create an account with:

• sign in with apple. we receive an anonymised apple identifier and, only if you choose to share it, your email.
• sign in with google. you sign in on google’s own page, and we receive a google identifier and your google-account email inside the sign-in token google issues. we keep only a one-way fingerprint of the identifier, and we do not keep the email. the privacy policy has the detail.
• guest. you can start logging without signing in. so that your boards can be read, the app creates an anonymous guest account on our servers, with no name or email attached (privacy policy §2.1). your sessions sync to that guest account like any other. signing in later with apple or google starts a separate account; the guest account is not merged into it, and you can delete it like any other account (privacy policy §6).

you are responsible for what happens on your account. if you lose access to the apple id or google account that you signed in with, you will lose access to the wodii account tied to it. we cannot recover it on your behalf, because we never store your password.

05 your content

everything you put into wodii, board photos, progress photos, session notes, workout logs, your profile, the workouts you post for a gym, is yours. you keep the copyright. you keep every legal right you already had.

you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your content for the sole purpose of running the service: to show you your own data on your own device and any device you sign in on, and to show the parts you share to the people you chose to share them with. that second part covers your display name, handle and profile photo, the session cards whose audience lets others see them, your results on a gym’s leaderboard, and the workouts you post as a coach. it never covers a session set to “only me”, and it never lets us show your content to anyone outside the audience you picked. the licence ends when you delete the content or delete your account; the privacy policy (section 08) lists the few things that stay, de-identified, because other people rely on them.

you are responsible for what you share. only post results that are yours, a name that is not someone else’s, and a profile photo you have the right to use.

we do not use your content to train machine-learning models. we do not sell your content. we do not share it with advertisers.

to be precise about the one place your content reaches a third party: your board image is sent to openrouter, and on to google’s gemini vision model, purely to read the workout off the board. that is a processing step we ask for on your behalf, not a licence for anyone to train on your photo. what those companies do with a submitted image is governed by their own terms; the privacy policy says what we have and have not verified about that.

06 acceptable use

you may not use wodii to:

• upload content that is illegal in the country where you live or the country where our infrastructure runs;
• upload sexual content involving minors. we will report any such content to the relevant authority and terminate the account immediately;
• harass, threaten, or dox any person, whether on the platform, through community features, or via content that could later be shared;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account other than your own, or to any part of our infrastructure;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the app beyond what applicable law permits;
• resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially redistribute the service;
• post content that is hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or threatening, in a display name, handle, profile photo, session card, posted workout or gym name;
• impersonate another person, athlete, coach or gym, or register a gym you do not run or represent;
• post results that are not yours, or deliberately false scores to move a leaderboard;
• spam, scrape, or collect other athletes’ profiles or results.

there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. we may hide content, remove a gym or hand it to someone else, and suspend or close an account that breaches this section. where the breach is serious, we may act without notice.

reporting and blocking. every post, profile, member list and posted workout in the app has a report option and a block option. blocking takes effect straight away and hides that person’s content from you and yours from them. a report comes to us, and we review every report within 24 hours and act on content that breaches this section, including removing it and closing the account that posted it. you can also report content or a user by email at hello@wodii.ai.

06a gyms, coaches and owners

anyone can register a gym in the app and becomes its owner. registering a gym is a statement that you run it or represent it. we do not check that claim when you make it; a gym shows as unverified until we have checked it by hand. if someone else shows us that a gym is theirs, or a gym breaches section 06, we may transfer it, rename it or remove it.

a gym’s owners and coaches can post workouts, see the invite code, remove members, and hide posts from their gym’s feed and leaderboards. owners can also change the invite code, change members’ roles and remove coaches. they cannot see a member’s full sessions, notes or sessions set to “people i follow” or “only me”. use these powers fairly: hiding a post is for content that breaks these terms or the gym’s own reasonable rules, not to settle a score.

a leaderboard is a record of what athletes logged, not an official result. we do not verify scores and are not responsible for disputes about them.

07 subscriptions

wodii+ is offered as an auto-renewing subscription on two cadences:

• monthly, bills every month via apple.
• annual, bills every year via apple.

both subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. you manage auto-renew and cancel a subscription in settings → [your name] → subscriptions on your device, or in the app store app.

free trial: the annual subscription starts with a 7-day free trial for apple ids that have not used an introductory offer for wodii+ before. cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged; otherwise the annual price is billed when the trial ends, and the subscription renews annually until cancelled.

08 refunds

purchases and subscription refunds are handled by apple, not by us, under the terms of the apple media services agreement you accepted with the app store. refund requests go to apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. we cannot issue a refund on apple’s behalf; if a specific case needs our attention, email us at hello@wodii.ai and we will assist apple’s review where we can.

09 disclaimer: fitness and injury

wodii is a log, not a medical service. the app does not diagnose, treat, or advise on any medical condition. training carries risk. consult a qualified medical professional before starting a training programme, changing training load, or resuming training after injury. if a session in the app looks structured or prescriptive, it is only a record of what you or your gym did, not medical advice. you use the app, and you train, at your own risk.

10 warranty disclaimer

the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. to the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data, including parsed workouts, will be perfectly accurate.

11 limitation of liability

to the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. some jurisdictions do not allow such limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

12 termination

you may close your account at any time from settings → account → delete account inside the app. deletion is final; sessions and photos are purged from our infrastructure within 30 days of the request, subject to backup rotation and legal retention obligations.

deleting your account also removes your profile, your gym memberships, your follows, your cheers and every session you synced, from every feed and leaderboard. what stays, de-identified, is listed in the privacy policy (section 08).

we may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if the service is discontinued. where we can, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.

sections 05 (the licence you granted), 06 and 06a (acceptable use, gyms), 09 (fitness disclaimer), 10 (warranty disclaimer), 11 (liability limit), 13 (governing law), and 14 (disputes) survive termination.

13 governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of india, the country in which the party named in section 01 is resident and from which the service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

14 dispute resolution

any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at gautam buddh nagar (noida), uttar pradesh, india. you and we each waive any objection to that venue on grounds of forum non conveniens or personal jurisdiction. nothing in this section takes away rights that the consumer-protection law of the country where you live gives you and does not let you waive.

15 changes to these terms

we may update these terms. when we do, we will change the version number and effective date at the top of this document and publish the new version at the same url. if a change materially reduces your rights, we will notify you in-app or by email (where you have shared one) at least 15 days before it takes effect. continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the update.

• 1.2.0, effective 2026-10-07. community features. section 02 describes them; section 04’s guest bullet now says a guest’s sessions sync too; section 05 extends the licence to showing what you share to the audience you chose, and nobody else; section 06 adds rules for community content, the report and block options and our 24-hour review; new section 06a covers gyms, coaches and owners; section 12 says what account deletion removes from the community.
